De Castellane Champagne House
A monument not to be missed...

> Founded in 1895, the De Castellane Champagne House is an absolute must-see on any visit to the Capital of Champagne.
The famous tower measuring 66 metres in height (237 steps) offers a unique panoramic view across the prestigious vineyards of Epernay.

> The De Castellane house is privileged enough to own a museum with a collection of champagne related artefacts. Through the 6 kilometres of cellars, discover the craftsmanship associated with champagne production dating from the end of the 19th century up to the present day.

> During the guided tour you will discover the secrets of Champagne and the history behind its production in this esteemed area, home to the most mysterious wine in the world. At the end of your visit enjoy a glass of our famous Brut Croix Rouge.

The House offers a visit followed by a tasting of one of their prestigious wines.
Vintage cuvée Commodore

Powerful, complex nose marked by notes of small dried fruits (apricot and hazelnut) and lime blossom, with a harmonious finish of candied citrus fruits. Balanced, well-rounded and a light biscuity finish. This is the ideal Champagne for a celebration dinner or to serve with traditional French cuisine.
